This version of the Type A has the addition of quick-snaps at both ends of the strap,allowing the rapid connection of different cameras. So- one neck strap can serve the mounting of several cameras. This strap is the companion to the Type B; the only difference being that this strap is 1/2" wide rather than the 1" wide of the Type B. If you do not use medium format or heavier 35mm/digital cameras this strap is a good option over the Type B.
