This version of the Type A has the addition of quick-snaps at both ends of the strap,allowing the rapid connection of different cameras. So- one neck strap can serve the mounting of several cameras. This strap is the companion to the Type B; the only difference being that this strap is 1/2" wide rather than the 1" wide of the Type B. If you do not use medium format or heavier 35mm/digital cameras this strap is a good option over the Type B. Additional pairs of strap connectors with standard split rings for both digital and 35mm may also be ordered... And this type can also be supplied with Leica SL type strap ends.
The neck strap can be supplied in 1" or 1/2" widths (see photo) - the choice is yours; the price is the same for either width neck strap.
you can also add the shoulder pad for this strap - or the Type A
A note on the snaps we use for the shoulder pad - we would have loved to have offered the shoulder pad right from the beginning of production but sourcing the high grade Newey brand snaps - and, crucially, the press tools to fit them to the leather proved an epic hunt. We also needed to find a sufficient quantity to be confident that we could offer the shoulder pad to anybody who wanted one. Daft 'limited editions' are not our thing. And, of course the bonus with the Newey snaps is that they are nickel plated true vintage - and thus go perfectly with the rest of the nickel plated hardware used on our straps.
This strap is also very useful for carrying another camera to use on the Type C double camera set up. Just buy the base strap here and then go to the Type C listing to buy the extra straps you need (1 pair for each camera)
