After years of searching for the perfect vest, I decided to commission our own. It was just impossible to find something discreet enough to wear under a jacket but which could be loaded to carry the kind of photographic payload and other stuff needed by anybody travelling. You will find this vest perfect on the street or on even the most rugged of locations. It has two large expanding pockets that you can load with camera bodies, lenses or whatever else and then above are two smaller pockets to carry film or SD cards. Inside the vest are two large and secure pockets for phones and papers...
The vest is designed so that with a camera bag worn across the body, or over one shoulder, the vest pocket flaps will be a little bit higher than the average carrying height of a camera bag and thus both the contents of a camera bag and the contents of the vest pockets can be accessed. With the right size of vest, everything comes easily to hand. We will shortly be releasing a courier-style camera bag that fully compliments the vest and also a jacket that will do the same. The whole set along with the Strapateer straps is designed as a harmonious system for the most effective and durable use in the field.
...And it's the perfect vest for moving quickly through airports; with everything held nice and secure when you have to put stuff through airport security. We love it. We hope you do, too.

Sizing - the vest is fairly generously cut so that you can fit plenty of gear in the pockets. BUT please think about how you want to use/wear this vest; if it's T shirts / shirts / or other light garments to be worn under it, you can go for your size (depending on just how bulky the stuff is that you want to fill the pockets with..!) But if you are more in the habit of wearing a vest like this over heavier garments, think about maybe ordering the next size up. Henri is wearing a size L in the photos - as is Josh with his Rolleiflex. Both are in the 40 - 42 M chest size range but both prefer the L chest fitting for the way they dress.
